Zhao Li, General Manager of ProSense, was invited to visit UL's headquarters in Chicago laboratory in the United States
Illinois, Chicago, June 19, 2025- Ms. Zhao Li, General Manager of ProSense Sensing Technology Co., Ltd., was invited by UL Solutions, a global expert in applied safety science, to visit UL Chicago Fire Laboratory for in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge technologies such as combustible gas sensors, UL standards, and practical requirements for application scenarios.
Focusing on cutting-edge technologies and exploring industry standards together
Accompanied by David Plummer, Senior Project Engineer at UL Chicago Laboratory, Zhao Li closely observed the world-class testing equipment and rigorous scientific testing process. Both parties engaged in constructive and in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge topics such as the performance and reliability verification standards of combustible gas sensors in extreme environments, and how to enhance the international competitiveness of products through the UL certification system.
Zhao Li emphasized the gains of this visit: "Sincerely thank UL Solutions for the invitation. UL represents the authoritative benchmark for global product safety and performance, and this trip has allowed us to learn about the international authoritative safety verification system up close. UL's rigorous standards provide key guidance for optimizing product design for ProSense, especially in adapting to stringent international standards and accelerating the global certification process. We have gained valuable professional insights. ”
International certification endorsement, globally recognized technical strength
The FC-CO-5000 independently developed by ProSense is the world's smallest UL certified carbon monoxide sensor in terms of volume. At the same time, it also has breakthrough performance such as a 10-year ultra long life, adaptability across a wide temperature range of -40 ℃ to 70 ℃, and resistance to (silicon) poisoning.
In March 2025, at the 3rd "Quality Chain Future" New Energy Industry Chain Conference, UL Solutions officially issued China's first button type electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor UL 2075 certification certificate to ProSense. This milestone certification not only marks that the ProSense FC-CO-5000 carbon monoxide sensor has fully met international standards in key performance aspects such as stability, anti-interference ability, and environmental adaptability, but also represents UL Solutions' high recognition and deep trust in ProSense's continuous innovation capability and technological strength.
Deepen international cooperation and accelerate global market layout
As a leader in the field of gas sensors in China, ProSense has been widely used in key areas such as industrial automation, air quality, fire and security systems, thanks to its profound technological accumulation and continuous innovation capabilities. The visit of the management team of ProSense to UL Chicago Laboratory this time is not only an important technical benchmarking and learning journey, but also a strategic action to deepen mutual trust and expand global vision. By closely collaborating with top international safety science partners such as UL, ProSense will more efficiently promote high-quality gas sensor products to meet international stringent standards, significantly improve the efficiency of obtaining "international passports", and help local and international industry customers enter the vast global market more smoothly.
